This symbol was designed specifically for the LegacyFest 2000 by Alyssa Loukota of The Legacy of a Kid Brother of St Frank.

The shield represents protection. The circle represents the completeness of God's will and plan for mankind.

There is a cross in the middle that unites the four sacred colors, representing all people.

The black symbols in the four sacred colors represent the four Gospels ... Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. A lion depicts Matthew, the Gospel of the prophesied King. Mark, the Gospel of the obedient Servant, is depicted as an ox. Luke, the Gospel of the Son of Man, the Perfect Man, is depicted as a native person... and John, the Gospel of the Divine Son, the most far-reaching Gospel, is depicted as an eagle.

The four outside colors represent the four elements of the creation ... earth, water, wind, and fire. These are necessary for life and therefore represent the eternal life in Christ.
