Billy Smiley is no stranger to the Christian music field. He is one of the founders and still current members of the recording group Whiteheart.
He has also produced over 45 albums, 50 top 10 songs, and 13 #1 songs over 15 years for such artists as Geoff Moore & the Distance, Magaret Becker, Whiteheart, The Gaither Vocal Band, BeBe & CeCe Winans (Silent Night), Steven Curtis Chapman (Away in a Manger), and Rachel Rachel.

As a songwriter he has written songs for such artists as Susan Ashton, Petra, The Newsboys, Sandy Patty, Magaret Becker, Geoff Moore, The Imperials, Whiteheart, and The Gaither Vocal Band to name a few. His most recent recordings are the new Whiteheart album - "Redemption", and the trilogy instrumental projects for Brentwood Records entitled - "Journeys ..... Prayer, Worship, and Christmas".
On these 3 instrumental projects Smiley players Flugelhorn, and Acoustic Guitar. "These projects are a wonderful opportunity for me to share my faith on a different level than the one I have with Whiteheart." Smiley states. "And on days when Whiteheart isn't touring; performing a relaxed, intimate evening at a church or theatre with a percussionist, another guitarist, and myself is a very rewarding thing to be able to do.
The opportunity to discover the history and stories behind why songs were written, and then share the songs in a style not unlike an evening with "Yanni, John Tesh, or Kenny G" is something most churches, or cities don't get a chance to enjoy on a spiritual level as well as musical level.
