Hi Mitch friends,

Mitch has recently agreed to be represented by Greg Carnes Productions. For now his mom and dad are still handling bookings as well, until further notice.

Greg Carnes Productions representing Mitch

Press Release

For Immediate Release:

Greg Carnes Productions is proud to announce its representation of "Mitch McVicker" in the areas of Management and Promotion effective immediately.

From conversations with Mitch over the last few months, it was apparent there was a definite need to help jump-start his career. Mitch began to live out his calling prior to the tragic accident which left him in critical condition, and that took his friend & fellow Ragamuffin, Rich Mullins. After hearing Mitch's album and listening to his desires, it only made sense for Greg Carnes Productions to become a part of this fresh poetic, and spiritually intense music that leaves the listener wanting more.

Mitch's independent self-titled CD was produced by both Mark Robertson of This Train & The Ragamuffins, and Rich Mullins. The record has received great reviews and is getting airplay across the nation. For being an independent artist, Mitch's album is selling quite well in retail stores and on the road.

Mitch has been on the road for the past six months touring with the Ragamuffins and doing dates with his band, The Kid Brothers of St Frank.

Some have said Mitch will be the one to carry on the Rich Mullins' legacy. Mitch definitely has the same focus and heart-like compassion as Rich, but he portrays his own unique style while remaining true to his calling. Mitch is also commited to the same causes that Rich was (i.e., Compassion International, The Kid Brothers of St. Frank, etc.). Mitch is still in the healing process, both physically and emotionally, but he strongly feels that God has spared his life so that he could continue the work that was planted some time ago (and he does so with great exuberance!).

Greg Carnes Productions was formed in 1989 and has been the producer of over sixty concerts and events in both the Austin and San Antonio areas. Its other clients include Rhythm House Records' artist, Chris Taylor, and independent acts, Lady Jane Gray & Jackson Swing.
